Sleaford-based sensations Glass Onion have been personally invited to perform at The Sun Inn, Gotham on Saturday May 14th at 8pm. Having just released a single and a music video featuring old favourites such as Basil Brush, Nobby the Sheep, Dooby Duck and Zero, it's understandable that you are excited about the prospect of meeting Batman!

Yet that is the hope of music favourites Glass Onion who can't wait to appear at The Sun Inn in Gotham next month, just in case Batman pops in to say hello!

Lead singer Chris Clarke says "We are really looking forward to playing in Gotham; we are all Batman fans and would love to meet him".

"When we told everyone that we had been invited to perform in Gotham, we immediately thought of the home town of Batman".

The popular 4 piece melodic rock outfit play a mixture of their own material and catchy commercial rock covers, and has previously supported high profile acts including Status Quo, Wishbone Ash, Bootleg Beatles and Nine Black Alps.

Recently the band released single and music video called 'Don't Be Afraid' featuring the original characters from some classic children's films and television. "Unfortunately, Batman wasn't available, but hopefully he can feature in one of our future projects" added Chris.

"When we recorded and filmed 'Don't Be Afraid' we wanted to create a nostalgic music video featuring characters from the past".

"We tempted Sergeant Major Zero from Gerry Anderson's 1980s science fiction TV series Terrahawks to come out of retirement after 30 years to be in the video, and we also had Dooby Duck, Nobby the Sheep and characters from Button Moon taking part"

Glass Onion is Chris Clark (guitar and lead vocal), Jon Hill (bass and vocal), Andy Taylor (lead guitar and vocal) and Daryl Hocking (drums).

Bassist and co-founder of Glass Onion Jon Hill said "We didn't know there was a village called Gotham near Nottingham. We hope Batman comes along, it will be a great night".

Glass Onion will be performing at THE SUN INN, GOTHAM on Saturday May 14th at 8pm.
